Candace L. Dale

Ms. Dale graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Social Work. She was employed by the St. Louis County Social Service Department. She had an opportunity to help people in times of great need, and soon came to the realization that many people needed legal help; therefore, she made the decision to return to law school. She graduated with Special Honors from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1986.

During the past 20 years, Ms. Dale has represented thousands of people who were seriously injured in motor vehicle collisions or have lost loved ones as a result of someone's negligence. She continues to represent "people in need" at Burke & Thomas, PLLP. She believes it is a privilege to do so.

Ms. Dale was selected a "Top 100 Super Lawyer" by Minnesota Law and Politics for the years 2001-2007 as well as one of the "Top 40 Personal Injury Lawyers" in the same publication for the years 2001-2006. Ms. Dale is not only certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association but in addition she is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She is one of only a few women lawyers in the State of Minnesota to achieve this dual certification. Ms. Dale is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars.

In addition to her legal work, she is on the Board of Directors for the MN State Horticulture Society and the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota. She is an owner of Garden Rooms, a gift store in White Bear Lake.
